During the week another thing occurred to me. Do you realize the spices added to a menu is very small compared to the food itself. For instance, when you add thyme to rice, it is very small compared to the rice being cooked. Those things that add spice to life often take but just a little time!!! SO JUST DO THOSE THINGS THAT ADD SPICE TO LIFE. Things like:
- Smile
- Kiss your spouse (If you are married!)
- Leave a note for a friend or family
- Sing.(Yes no matter how bad that voice is)
- Take a stroll
- Make a craft (preferably with your kids)
- Put away the social media for a day!!! (and try relating with people one on one)
- Pick up a dictionary and surf through (that's always a thrilling exercise for me)
- Learn a bible memory verse.
- Dance!!!! (that's hilarious i think)
Please add to this list. Remember, we need those things that do not involve much planning and take up little time. I'm waiting....
